I grew up in a holler in northeast Tennessee. The mountains and way of life of the mountain people has been one of my most treasured experiences, but it has been handed down through stories and photos, with each generation slipping further from the roots.

After traveling the southeast and meeting so many people from diverse backgrounds, I realized how precious each families history is to them, how we can connect with our ancestors and our descendants through the photos we keep.

Becoming a mother has made this impression even deeper.

My goal is to truly see who you are and document your story for what it is in a way that will outlast your earthly body for decades to come.
